Diego Milito fell behind in the pecking order of Inter Milan and this can be seen by his last 2 seasons when performing at the Italian club where he only managed to make 37 league appearances during both seasons.
The Argentinean forward was playing less and less of an important role in Inter Milan which played an important role in the decision of the Italian side Inter Milan in releasing him as well as Milito deciding to continue playing the last few years of his career at a place where his chances of playing are higher, the veteran player ultimately opted to go with his childhood team, Racing Club.
Racing Club is currently going through their pre-season schedule with friendly matches being played between a number of different teams and Diego Milito has already made himself be noticed as he scored the winning goal for his club during the 4th friendly match of Racing Club of their pre-season as they faced off against Belgrano and came out winning with a scoreboard of 2-1.
During the recently concluded 2014 World Cup, there was a result that shocked Diego Milito and it was the match that Germany disputed against Brazil with the Germans claiming their famous and rather surprising 7-1 triumph. Following the victory, Milito stepped up to the media as he was performing as a Team Ambassador for Sony and said:
“It’s a huge margin of defeat and it’s a result that will feature prominently in football history books in future. It will go down as perhaps the most painful defeat of all time.”
At his 35 years of age, Diego Milito will finish the last few years of his professional competitive career playing in the club where he started it all off, in Racing Club and he has already started to show his appreciation for the team on letting him return by scoring goals.

Tottenham’s plans to build a new 56,000 seater stadium have been hit by local businesses protesting against the move. The club are currently waiting for approval from the Communities Secretary Eric Pickles. However, it looks like the approval may not come in the short term since Pickles is thought to be concerned about the prospect of moving the stadium and the station further up the road. Local businesses have submitted protests stating that this move will significantly resulted in loss of business.
White Hart Lane currently has a capacity of just over 35,000, while this new stadium is expected to bring in 20,000 more for every match. Tottenham will have no problems in selling the tickets since they currently have a huge backlog in terms of season tickets. Vice-chairman of the Tottenham Business Group, Patricia Pearcy Saturday that the prospect of moving the station is a non-negotiable aspect of the plan. She expects the plan to go ahead despite the protests. According to Pearcy, the local businesses will have no drop in business since the fans are expected to be channelled straight to the station.
Pearcy it is the priority of Tottenham to retain the businesses. The 56,000 seater stadium will come with several avenues like shopping malls and so on. “The station has been in White Hart Lane for decades and the footfall had never been a problem. The crowd dissipated as it walked along the High Street. Originally they were going to just remodel the station and keep it where it is now. Local people have been saying, ‘yes, of course, remodel it and make it bigger and better, but leave it where it is’. Increased footfall on the High Road is a good thing, but it has to be a good thing for the businesses and the community that is already here,” said Pearcy.

Uruguay is going to play against Colombia in the FIFA World Cup pre quarter final match at Estadio de Maracana on the upcoming Saturday.
Both the teams played some fantastic football in the group round. Uruguay, although, had not got off to the best of starts as in their very first game, they had been handed 1-3 humiliation by Costa Rica, but, the way they recovered from that loss was remarkable. They beat two strong teams i.e. England and Italy in their last two matches to advance to the Round of 16.
The inclusion of the star player Luis Suarez in the line up made a big difference for Uruguay. The Liverpool forward was on the sidelines in the game against Costa Rica and Uruguay’s attack didn’t look that penetrative. But, as soon as he came in against England, La Celeste appeared to have much more firepower upfront.
According to the latest betting on Euro 2016, Uruguay went from outsiders to even money when it was announced that Suarez would be coming back into the first-team.
However, the bad news for the Uruguay supporters is that Suarez might not play in the game against Colombia. He has been accused of biting one of the opponent players in the Italy game and he might end up getting suspended for the whole tournament for that.
If that happens, Uruguay would get weakened significantly, especially their attack. At a time when Diego Forlan is not in great rhythm, they were heavily relying on Suarez.
As far as Colombia is concerned, they had a dream run in the group round. They won all their Group matches there and that too quite convincingly. Against Japan, they were not playing with their strongest squad, but, despite that, they won by 4-1 which suggests that they have got great bench strength too.
It’s going to be extremely difficult for Uruguay to stop Colombia without the services of Suarez.

With the hope and expectations of a nation on their shoulders, Brazil have so far failed to really wow during their opening two games at this FIFA World Cup. The hosts came back from a goal down against Croatia in their opening game of the tournament to claim a somewhat fortunate 3-1 win, but the Selecao couldn’t give their home fans much to shout about as they struggled to a 0-0 draw against Mexico in their second group game.
Despite winning their first game of the tournament, Brazil were left in no doubt that the hosts hadn’t performed anywhere near the level of a team hoping to win a World Cup. A year after beating Mexico on their way to winning the Confederations Cup at the Estadio Castelao, Luiz Felipe Scolari’s men looked like a different team as they failed to find a way past the Central Americans in Fortaleza.
With Neymar still yet to produce his best form despite scoring twice in the Croatia win, Brazil have looked somewhat devoid of ideas in attack at times so far in the tournament. Fred came into the World Cup on the back of a mixed few months and the striker hasn’t shown any real signs he is capable of leading the line for Brazil all the way to the title.
The Fluminense striker failed to have a single shot against Mexico before being hauled off for Jo, and it remains to be seen whether the forward will be given another chance to prove he deserves his place in the starting line-up in Brazil’s final group game against Cameroon.
While the hosts have all but booked their place in the second round following their opening two games, Brazil fans will be expecting to see a significant improvement in performances if their team are going to have any chance of winning fulfilling their pre-tournament brief.

Liverpool enjoyed having the upper hand of possession throughout the entirety of their match against Chelsea but it wasn’t enough for the side of Brendan Rodgers to claim the victory.
Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea defensive playing style neutralized all of the efforts that were launched at them. When the match concluded Brendan Rodgers tried to motivate his players as there are only 2 matches that Liverpool has to play and they should continue on by learning from their recent mistakes.
“Our objective is for ourselves. We now need to win the two games and see where it takes us’’.
“Then we will be fine. The players have been absolutely fantastic. We’ll now focus on Crystal Palace and see where that takes us. I said how proud I was of them, because they were absolutely fantastic. We’ve been on a run of games and the games that we’ve won have been exceptional’’.
“To lose is obviously a big disappointment, because we haven’t had many games that we have lost. But we’ll take that on the chin; this is a great group of players, a very honest group, and we’ll continue to work on.” Rodgers said.
Rodgers went on criticizing Chelsea’s gameplay as the Northern Irish coach said that the team of Jose Mourinho parked 2 buses instead of just 1.
“They parked two buses, rather than one. From the first minute they had 10 men behind the ball. We were the team trying to win but we just couldn’t make the breakthrough.” Rodgers added on.
This defeat ended the 11 consecutive triumphs of Liverpool and not only that but more importantly is that the Premier League title is in the hands of Manchester City as they have a significantly better goal difference than Liverpool and if they manage on winning all of their remaining matches then City will be crowned as the champions of the Premier League

Ac.Milan triumph against Catania was the 4th consecutive victory for the Italian club under the guidance of Clarence Seedorf who has slowly been trying to pick up the team and finish the season on a respectable spot in the Serie A.
Seedorf replaced Allegri and took charge of the club earlier at the beginning of the year in January and it seems that despite the mediocre season that Ac.Milan has been going through, the players still want to continue playing with the club as it was revealed when the agent of Stephan El Shaarawy said that his client wants to continue wearing the Ac.Milan even though there are offers of other clubs on the table.
“He is finally feeling good. He is training and playing with the Primavera team” he told the brasil mexico odds fansite.
“He can’t wait to help Seedorf and Milan. He will play again this weekend with the Primavera team, and then he will decide together with the boss what to do next. He wants to get back as soon as possible because the Milan formation is perfect for him. He wants to excel’’.
“It’s not just Napoli and Torino; there are lots of clubs who are interested in Stephan. It’s normal when you’re talking about a great player. But he wants to stay at Milan and the Rossoneri don’t want to lose a player like him. That’s the reality.” His brother and agent, Manuel El Shaarawy said.
The same thing is happening with Adil Rami and Adel Taarabt as those 2 players are some of the latest signings of Ac.Milan. Both of them have already displayed their abilities which have helped the club on securing some important victories as well as attracting the attention of some top clubs around Europe but they have stated their intentions of not only remaining with the Italian club for a few more years but instead spending their career in San Siro.
This is good news for Seedorf and Ac.Milan as they now have a few promising young players which can help rebuild the team.
Tottenham Hotspur is hoping that they can move into their new stadium by 2017. The Premier League club has been undergoing plans and changes with hopes of increasing the capacity of the White Hart Lane which would improve their revenues in the long term.
The new stadium is going to be next to their current White Hart Lane ground which has the capacity of settling 36,000 fans but by 2017 it is expected to be increased to 58,000.
Daniel Levy is the chairman of the club and he recently announced to the public, the current situation of Tottenham.
“We have fantastic, strong support. Our current 36,000-seater stadium sells out and the waiting list for season ticket holders is currently in excess of 47,000”
“We have the smallest capacity stadium of any club in the top 20 clubs in Europe, let alone the current top four Premier League clubs, and given we now operate within UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, an increased capacity stadium and associated revenues is fundamental to supporting the future ambitions and consistent achievement at the top of the game.”
“Our focus isn’t therefore is to continue to invest in and develop the squad – we shall not look to a summer of major upheaval, but rather to strengthen in key positions to play the style of football for which we are famous and to deliver the new stadium.” Levy said, who also runs a Largs Yacht Charter company.
In June of 2013, Tottenham revealed profits of €1.5 million and they want to increase their revenues among the upcoming seasons as it would help the fans as well as the club which could allow them on having a bigger budget for the transfer windows and giving them the chance to compete not only with the best club in England but in Europe.

Last year Tottenham failed to secure a top 4 spot in the Premier League and they also had to see one of their star players, Gareth Bale joining Real Madrid just like Luka Modric did the previous year and the possibility of Tim Sherwood losing another star player is becoming likely as Jan Vertonghen has stated his desire of playing in the Champions League.
The future of Jan Vertonghen will be far away from White Hart Lane if Tottenham is unable on securing a Champions League qualification spot.
‘’What I want is to be playing in the Champions League with Tottenham, so I hope we get in this year. Do I have a decision to make if we don’t? I can’t say anything about that. Let’s see after the end of the season, after the World Cup.” Vertonghen revealed.
Jan Vertonghen is likely to be leaving White Hart Lane if Tottenham cannot enter the Champions League of the upcoming season; it’s a completely different story for Christian Eriksen who assured the fans of the club that his future at White Hart Lane is the same despite what Tottenham are able to accomplish.
‘’I don’t know how other guys are thinking, but I’m happy where I am, and hopefully we’ll get to the Champions League anyway. I think it is important for the club, and the caliber of player that could come, or stay. I think everybody wants to go to the Champions League.’’ Eriksen revealed.
After being loaned out to a number of clubs including: Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, Watford, Millwall, Leeds United and Birmingham City. Andros Townsend is desperate to get more playing time in Tottenham as he wants to do much more things in White Hart Lane than just warm the bench as well as getting the chance of being taken into consideration by Roy Hogdson for the upcoming World Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur snapped up Aaron Lennon from Leeds United in July 2005 at the cost of £1 million and since then he has scored 26 goals in 241 appearances and this right winger with lightening speed also plays for the National Team in the same position. He has tremendous pace and is capable of winning matches with a sudden spurt of speed and his performance during season 2012-13 has come under tremendous praise.
Aaron was born Aaron Justin Lennon on 16th of April, 1987 at Chapeltown, Leeds England and stands in his boot at 1.65m. He performs the role of the winger on the field and wears the number 7 jersey for his club Tottenham Hotspur. His earlier playing career as a youth was started with the hometown club Leeds United in 2001 and was elevated to the senior team in 2003 where he continued till 2005.
He is a player of tremendous prowess capable of generating pace on both flanks during play and his recent form has led to the earning caps against Brazil and San Marino after the recall to the England team. In the Premier League he was in the starting lineup 33 out of 34 appearances and had a total of 46 appearances in all. He scored 4 times and they included an excellent strike against the Gunners in March last year and a tremendous shoot against Sunderland.
His debut with Spurs after he left his native club Leeds in July 2005 was simply spectacular and he played in 29 games and found the net twice during the campaign. This earned him an out of the blue call from Sven-Goran Eriksson to join the England national team that was on the way to Germany for 2006 World Cup Finals. Aaron won the 2008-09 Player of the Season in which he harried the opposition backups during 47 games which also fetched him another 5-year contract with his club and an England recall in 2009.
White Hart Lane is home to a new coach as Tim Sherwood was appointed as the new tactician of the club and has already overcome some of his toughest tasks of his career by claiming a 2-1 victory against Manchester United some days ago and has been getting positive results in the small lapse of time since taking in his new role in Tottenham.
Sherwood has never managed or coached a 1st team before in his career and already made some big changes as he switched out the preferred 4-2-3-1 formation that Andre Villas-Boas used on the Premier League club and the change has seem to be given the approval of the players as they did not enjoy the tactics used by Villas-Boas.
Despite having the introduction of new tactics to the team and having already managed to collect good results for Tottenham, Sherwood has stated the sudden change in his life as it has now become much more difficult being the main man behind a team.
“I don’t sleep and when you do you wake up after two hours (you’re) thinking about Adebayor,” laughs Sherwood. “That can’t be right, but it’s better me waking up thinking about him than my missus!
“The game, the job and the club are on my mind all the time and I expected that after learning from the managers I have worked with. It is their life and they live it completely. I try to go home and switch off but it’s extremely difficult’’.
“It’s a complete lifestyle change. There are so many added pressures, you just have to be big and strong enough to get on with it. That’s why I admire managers who stand in that technical area and take jobs on because they ain’t easy.
Since 2007 White Hart Lane has seen 5 different coaches being switched out and now the chairman Daniel Levy wants Tim Sherwood to stay for a while despite being named as just a interim head coach.
