TOTTENHAM MAKE THEIR MOVE

Last year Tottenham failed to secure a top 4 spot in the Premier League and they also had to see one of their star players, Gareth Bale joining Real Madrid just like Luka Modric did the previous year and the possibility of Tim Sherwood losing another star player is becoming likely as Jan Vertonghen has stated his desire of playing in the Champions League.

The future of Jan Vertonghen will be far away from White Hart Lane if Tottenham is unable on securing a Champions League qualification spot.

‘’What I want is to be playing in the Champions League with Tottenham, so I hope we get in this year. Do I have a decision to make if we don’t? I can’t say anything about that. Let’s see after the end of the season, after the World Cup.” Vertonghen revealed.

Jan Vertonghen is likely to be leaving White Hart Lane if Tottenham cannot enter the Champions League of the upcoming season; it’s a completely different story for Christian Eriksen who assured the fans of the club that his future at White Hart Lane is the same despite what Tottenham are able to accomplish.

‘’I don’t know how other guys are thinking, but I’m happy where I am, and hopefully we’ll get to the Champions League anyway. I think it is important for the club, and the caliber of player that could come, or stay. I think everybody wants to go to the Champions League.’’ Eriksen revealed.

After being loaned out to a number of clubs including: Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, Watford, Millwall, Leeds United and Birmingham City. Andros Townsend is desperate to get more playing time in Tottenham as he wants to do much more things in White Hart Lane than just warm the bench as well as getting the chance of being taken into consideration by Roy Hogdson for the upcoming World Cup.
