Round 13 of the Bayside
Premier League is a reduced round due to the expulsion of Pines
Condors from the league during the week. This will mean that the
Pines Condors v Chelsea Young Boys match will be awarded a 3 – 0
walkover to the league leaders Chelsea Young Boys. 3pm KNOX CITY "A" v HAMPTON PARK "A" Egan Lee Reserve, Wallace Avenue, Knoxfield, Mel 73 A3 Last Time: HP 1 – 1 KC To evenly matched teams as second placed Hampton Park United travel to fifth placed, though only two points behind, Knox City with both clubs out for nothing less maximum points to keep in touch with Chelsea. Hampton Park has won in their last two outings whilst Knox City was stunningly held to a draw by second last Cuscatlan. 3pm WESTERNPORT "A" v CROYDON "A" Westernport Secondary College, High Street, Hastings, Mel 154 E11 Last Time: CR 0 – 1 WP Third last Westernport Wanderers have proven to be a competitive team all season yet they are only two points above relegation. They have won four matches this season and at one stage where on the same level as their opponents for this round. Croydon Ranges could only managed 3 points in the first six matches yet have put themselves into contention of the title with five wins out of six matches. Westerport has the upper hand with a win over Croydon in round 4. 1pm ENDEAVOUR "A" v BORONIA KNIGHTS James Cook Reserve, James Cook Drive, Endeavour Hills, Mel 91 B5 Last Time: BK 4 – 0 ES Unfortunately Endeavour Sporting has struggled since joining the Premier League this season, but credit must be given to the club for hanging in their and participating in every round. Three times league champions Boronia Knights are in a very unusual position of seventh place but are expected to win this match and could leap up a few positions in doing so. 3pm ROSEBUD "A" v CUSCATLAN "A" Olympic Park, Besgrove Street, Rosebud, Mel 170 B4 Last Time: CC 1 – 5 RB Well, you would at first think that Rosebud should win this match but after Cuscatlan help Knox City to a draw last round anything could happen. Rosebud is in a great position to finish the year well but will need to gain some consistency in their results to challenge for top spot. Only once that have won matches back to back and that was in round 1 & 2. Custcatlan need any points to help avoid relegation. |
