Chelsea made it nine wins
from their last ten matches by easily disposing of Endeavour
Sporting after shooting ten goalsinto the oppositions net. Endeavour
was able to gain a consolation goal but they now have conceded 20
goals in the last two rounds. Pines Condors had their biggest loss of the season and it coincided with the biggest drop on positions for any club as they plummeted from second to sixth place when Croydon Ranges powered to a 5 - 1 win at home. Croydon are unstoppable at the moment and are now only two points away from second position on the current league ladder. Rosebud also has move into contention with a 1 -0 win over Boronia Knights to now be third. Boronia Knights on the other hand are now seventh position on the league table. This is a highly unusual position for the 2000, 2001 & 2002 league champions but they are also only four points from second position. This highlights how highly coemptive the league is this season. Knox City was expected to be equal on points with Hampton Park but second last Cascutlan proved a worthy opponent on the day by holding a home team to a 1 - 1 draw. Not much has changed in the Premier League reserves with all the top three teams once again winners. One points separates leaders Croydon Ranges to Knox City and Boronia Colts. Division 1 and Cerberus maintains top place with a good 3 - 0 win over Frankston Outlaws. Peninsula also won the battle between themselves and third placed Brighton Old Boys with a narrow 1 - 0 victory. This also marks Peninsula's eighth win in row. Langwarrin move close to third place thanks to 5 - 1 win over bottom placed Montrose Rodpacs. Division 2 and it is Montrose Old Boys that moved two points clear on top when surprisingly Peninsula 'B' eight game winning streak can to a halt when they where held to a draw by Rosebud Old Boys.
